igloo Managed SERVICES
Perhaps igloo’s most unique division, Managed Services spans across all of the igloo divisions and provides both on-site management and support as well as fully managed workforce solutions to a range of clients.
Although each contract we operate has its own idiosyncrasies, the premise remains the same.
Our On-Site Services have igloo supervisory and management staff based on our clients premises to manage both temporary and full time igloo employees. They provide on-site screening, skills testing, assessments and inductions. igloo also has a range of fully qualified technical skills instructors such as DSA Driving Instructors, RTITB instructors and PDI Bodyshop Managers. We manage also planning and staffing requirements for our clients, as well as holiday planning and cover and all personnel and training related matters.
Our full Managed Service contracts work almost more in-line with traditional 3PL operations, where by a permanent igloo workforce and management team take on the complete responsibility of a client’s logistics operation.
The benefits our clients get from this service is that they receive the dedication, training and commitment that any business would expect from a full time employee, but the cost, risk and all personnel related matters remain with igloo.
We have helped clients relocate premises; tupee’d staff across to our business from theirs, and saved some our clients in access of £3,000,000 per annum. Managed Services have been particularly effective with large national and international business where there have either been issues around sign off for full time staff, or problems brought about through historical and hard to manage labour agreements.
Whilst managed services contracts don’t work for every client, without being able to offer this service as one of our recruitment solutions, igloo wouldn’t be the business it has become, and much of its success have been driven by innovative solutions such as this.
